MMS – 1st Annual Star Party 2005

Dear MMS Members,
Well if your in Victoria, NOT going to the VicSouth this year, but still feel like a session under some country skies.. Then we have an astronomically good idea for you!
Feeling some dusty scope guilt? Then your cordially invited to a BBQ and Gotofest just up the Calder freeway at the lovely John Izzo’s place on the 5th of November!
Yes! Come and meet the Superstars of MMS……well, some blokes with tickets on themselves, as scopey guru’s and allround good fellas…eat food, sip wine, chat and wait for darkness to fall, whilst relaxing in the Zen like gardens of Mt Macedon’s Stella Observatory!:) (pat pend, copyright, all rights reserved, weather permitting, we blame the mountain, BYO)
We have numbers coming already, so you wont be alone with a tube in your hands, lets just have fun and sigh as our scopes whirr and beep in unison like deranged syncro swimmers…the more the better.
Interested? Simply send us a note telling us how wonderful it will be to escape the city for a night and drink John’s red red wine 🙂
Ok once again, its a Gotofest but feel free to just come and gawk and chat, it will be a very pleasant evening under the stars….(date may vary with weather)
